Day 42

It's day 42 by my calculations and things have, so far, gone more smoothly than ever expected. Scott and Hans are on it!

We've had very little downtime and the project has seemed to flow seamlessly from demo to framing to HVAC, electrical, plumbing to Roofing and now the new staircase.

The whole crew is great with kids, they clean up every afternoon, and strangely it's not bad having them around.

Roofing completed

The new shigles are on and look pretty good. We took the chance to replace the old bottom haf shingles too. The colour is "Weathered Wood"

Final concept - south perspective

This is the rendering our Architect pulled together. The actual finished product will be tweaked but it will be fun to see the two next to each other later.
